They pass through the narrow passageway through the steep canyon walls. Within the huge rock face is the entrance to a cave. There is a small light ahead. The Mom sheds her outer garment of rags, letting the hem down on her clean white linen, "Likewise, he would have found another way. And the damage would have still been done. The stakes are too high. Trying to stop him, will perhaps only make matters worse. But on the other hand, what could be worse than the deception the world now faces?"

     The small boy doesn't ask about the steaks costing too much.  He feels content to hold onto the hem of his Mom's clean garment as they walk towards the light, growing brighter with each step.
